By accessing or using SquishMate ("the Service"), operated by Lifers PTY LTD (ABN 90643368665), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

SquishMate is an image optimization service that provides:

• Image compression and format conversion
• AI-powered metadata generation (alt text, titles, descriptions)
• Direct integration with WordPress media libraries
• Batch processing capabilities

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service after price changes constitutes acceptance of new pricing.

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
• Upload images containing malware or malicious code
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
• Use the Service to spam or harass others
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Use automated tools to abuse the Service

Your Content

You retain all rights to images you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your images for the purpose of providing the Service.

Generated Metadata

AI-generated metadata (alt text, titles, descriptions) is provided for your use without restriction. We claim no ownership over generated metadata.

When connecting your WordPress site, you authorize SquishMate to upload images and metadata to your media library. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect and modify your WordPress installation.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice when possible. We are not liable for any losses due to service interruptions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated metadata

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lifers PTY LTD from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Australia.
